Sense White Buy

Under the growing demand of consumers who are increasingly sensitive to healthy products, Celler Batea presented in 2019 its first wines free of added sulfites. A limited edition of two wines: a 100% red grenache and a 100% white grenache, both made from organic grapes, which respond to the commitment of the winery, with innovation and corporate social responsibility. "Batea Sense" (white grenache and red grenache) naturally, have less than 10mg per liter of sulfites, they are 100% organic, do not contain any chemical, nor preservatives and have not been filtered, offering a unprecedented purity and expression of garnatxa.

Making of

Selected grapes from the best ecological vines. Pre-fermentative skills maceration and fermentation with native yeasts and controlled temperature 14-16ºC in stainless steel tanks, it is kept in fine lees, making a “battonage” to give it more complexity and volume in the mouth.

Tasting note

Colour: Golden Yellow

Flavour: Wine whit slow evolution, where the aromas of apple, ripe pear and bitter almond appear first. When it opens, appear aniseed and fennel, quince and honey aromas. Whit Hints of pastry and coconut. Complex nose.

Taste: At the beginning of the mouth, the acid green apple stands out, which gives it freshness and a touch of ripe fruit very well balanced, with a good smoothness and silkiness. Appear after, Notes to husks of roasted nuts such as almond or hazelnut. It has a somewhat bitter and bitter end typical of white grenache. Complex and interesting wine due to the lees in suspension.

Alcohol Content: 13,5%

Pairing

Rice with fish, mixed and oriental salads, fideuá, seafood, green salads, rice and pasta. Pasta with seafood sauces, white fish, light fish, pizza, melted cheeses, chocolate.
