Now in its 16th year, the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) is the world’s largest and most influential wine competition. Judged by the top wine experts from around the globe, the DWWA is trusted internationally for its rigorous judging process.
This contest, held in London, is based on wine tasting by a group of top-level experts. The jury is made up of 59 Master of Wine, 25 Master Sommeliers, from more than 33 countries. All of them commanded by some tasting presidents who are in charge of returning to taste the wines that receive the gold medal to reach the platinum medal and be eligible to be the “Best of Show”.
This year, Celler Batea has obtained a Silver Medal with its wines L’Aube 2015 and Tipicitat 2014, as well as a Bronze medal for Naturalis Mer Crianza 2015.
We can not be more proud of this recognition, which makes us keep improving day by day, in order to compete with the best internationally.
