Naturalis Mer represents our commitment to red and white Garnacha grapes organically cultivated and vinified in Terra Alta. We have accepted the challenge of making this wine in the least intrusive way possible and all within the framework of those stringent regulations governing the production of organic wines.
With its fresh red fruity fleshiness the red Garnacha grape dominates in this wine. It is, however, complemented with a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon. After 3 months in French oak casks it is usually ready for bottling. It has a fruity profile with notes of fine wood - this makes it ideal for either drinking on its own or accompanying any meal.
Healthy grapes and a clean environment: two maxims to follow in winemaking, and very much at the heart of our production of organic wines. The grapes are carefully selected at our winery and, after destemming and crushing, they are vinified by cold maceration followed by alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. The wine is then kept in 300 litre French oak casks for three months before bottling.
