Naturalis Mer represents our commitment to red and white Garnacha grapes organically cultivated and vinified in Terra Alta. We have accepted the challenge of making this wine in the least intrusive way possible and all within the framework of those stringent regulations governing the production of organic wines.
Selected grapes from the best organic grown vineyards. Grapes are crushed, trampled and fermented under controlled temperature with native yeasts and minimal intervention, just daily reductions until ending the alcoholic fermentation. Wine is clarified by gravity into concrete tanks where it starts the malolactic fermentation with no addition of lactic bacteria. Once malolactic fermentation is over, the wine is moved into French 300 litre new oak barrels remaining there for 12 to 15 months when it is bottled.
