Coupage: derives from the French word “couper,” meaning “to cut.” In the world of wine, the coupage is the process where different wines are blended together to improve or complement their properties.
This week in Celler Batea, our winemakers are tasting all the oak barrels where our best garnachas and carignan wines were aging inside for 14 months.
After blending all of them, the winemakers will decide the final Tipicitat wine.
